7 Teams from the CHSFL will be playing in Thanksgiving Games tomorrow morning.
In New York City’s oldest sports Rivalry Xavier will travel to Coffey Field at Fordham University to take on the Fordham Prep Rams. This year they will play the 93rd edition of their Turkey Bowl which dates back to 1882.
Mount St. Michael’s & Cardinal Hayes will battle in the Bronx for the 74th edition of the Turkey Bowl at the Mount in a rivalry that dates back to 1942.
Stepinac played White Plains every year since 1971 until postseason complications halted the game for 3 years in a row starting in 2013. But after the 3 year hiatus the Crusaders of Stepinac will travel to White Plains H.S. for a 10:30 AM Kickoff.
New Rivalries this year will add some juice to the slate of Thanksgiving Day games as they are both matchups of CHSFL vs PSAL Teams. Holy Cross will take on Campus Magnet and St. Peter’s will play host to Tottenville in a North Shore vs. South Shore Staten Island Battle.
