TOP SEEDS ADVANCE TO THE 2022 CHSFL CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES

AAA League Championship:  Top seed St. Anthony’s returns to the CHSFL title game for the first time since 2017. The fourteen-time CHSFL champion will look to capture its first title since 2013 when it takes the field against defending league and state champion, Iona Prep. Top seed St. Anthony’s enters the title game on the strength of a 41-15 win over Chaminade. Second seed Iona Prep bested Westchester rival Archbishop Stepinac 41-28 and is looking to win its fourth league title. The winner will take on St. Francis of Buffalo for the CHSAA state title.

AA I Championship Game:  Holy Trinity continued its dominance by defeating Fordham Prep 28-7 to advance to the AA I championship. The defending 2021 A Champions will look to capture the AA I title when it takes on second seed Moore Catholic. Moore advanced to the championship by outlasting St. John the Baptist 14-7.

AA II Championship Game: Mount Saint Michael advanced to its first CHSFL title game since 2013 and will look for its first championship since 2009. Mount, the second seed, defeated third seed Xaverian 35-7. Coach Mario Valentini will lead the Mountaineers against top seed Xavier. Xavier defeated Kennedy Catholic 48-7 to advance to its first CHSFL championship game since 2018. Xavier last won the AA title in 2015.
