CHSFL Players of the Week: Week 1 – 2013
Sean Cerrone, QB, Chaminade The Flyers star quarterback orchestra a huge win for Chaminade over Kellenberg in Week 1 both on the ground and in the air. Cerrone was 6-7 passing for 201 yards and three touchdowns, while on the gorund he rushed for 130 yards on seven carries and two scores. Malik Crossdale, RB, Fordham Prep Crossdale, a 6-foot 195-pound senior from the Bronx had a stellar game in the Rams’ Week 1 victory over St. John the Baptist. The running back gained 247 yards on 25 carries and had six runs for double-digit yardage. He also scored three touchdowns on runs of 13, 18 and 56 yards. Will Solomon, RB/FS. Xavier Last year’s CHSFL Offensive Player of the Year, Solomon carried the ball 31 times for 253 yards, averaging 8.1 yards per carry. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound running back scored all four rushing touchdowns for Xavier and accounted for
