CHSFL Players of the Week: Week 4 – 2013
The following football players earned CHSFL Player of the Week honors for Week 4: Rodney Gonzalez, Sr., SB, Bishop Ford Gonzalez, a 6-foot-1, 215-pound senior caught six passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Not only did the Bishop Ford slot back excel in receiving yards, he also accumulated 50 yards on the ground on ten carries. Through four games Gonzalez has compiled 360 receiving yards and 190 yards on the ground. Shaka Shomari, Jr., RB, Holy Trinity Shomari exploded on the scene at Mitchel Field during a 41-19 Week 4 win over Kellenberg Memorial. The dynamic running back rushed for 144 yards on 13 carries and notched three touchdowns in the win. In the three games prior, Shomari rushed for -10 yards on 7 carries.
