The following players earned Player of the Week honors from Week 6 action of CSHFL football:
Bryan Sinclair, ATH/DB/RET, Sr. St. John the Baptist – Sinclair did a little of everything in the Cougars win over Cardinal Spellman. The Sr. all-purpose football plater had six rushes for 50 yards and a touchdown, four catches for 82 yards and a touchdown, and two kick returns for 148 yards which set up two touchdowns on the next two plays. Defensively, Sinclair had five tackles (three solo and two assisted).
Tariq Oliver, RB, Sr. St. Francis Prep – During Prep’s 28-27 win over Xavier, Oliver carried the ball eight times for 50 yards, including a two-yard rush for a score right before the half. He also had a 16-yard TD reception in the fourth quarter that helped put the Terriers within striking distance.
Joseph Barretta, RB, Sr. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea – Baretta, a senior running back had 154 yards and two touchdowns in Sea’s 34-22 win over Mount St. Michael. He also doubles as a cornerback and had five tackles.
