Players of the Week – Week #3

Justin Johnson (Holy Trinity – Sr. /LB/WR):  Being in the right place at the right time is what great players do.  Justin Johnson is that type of player. In Holy Trinity’s league opening victory over Mount Saint Michael’s Johnson was in the right place to cause or take advantage of a QB sack, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.  In addition he had five solo tackles, assisted on five tackles and had two special teams tackles.  Offensively Johnson contributed 44 total yards including a 25 yard touchdown reception. Jerome Brooks III (St. John the Baptist – Jr./RB):  In St. John the Baptist 36-14 win over St. Francis Jerome Brooks three rushing touch downs proved to be the difference.  Brooks rushed for 260 yards on 20 carries.  His offensive numbers included completing two passes for 20 yards.
