Michael Chiarovano (Xavier Jr./RB)  – In a season where Xavier has been struggling to established itself in the AAA-AA Division, this week’s 21-12 victory over Mount St. Michael was a big step in the right direction.  Pivotal in the game was the play of Mike Chiarovano who carried the ball 23 times for 111 yards and both of Xavier’s offensive scores.  After a 95 yard, 16 play drive to open the game, Mike plunged into the end zone from three yards out.  Also in Xavier’s first possession after the half, Mike ran the ball into the end zone on an 11 yard run capping a 12 play drive.  As a matter of fact, Mike Chiarovano has had 4 100 yard rushing games this season, including the last 3 weeks in a row against some of Xavier’s best opponents, St. Peter’s, Monsignor Farrell, Holy Trinity and Mount St. Michael.  He also had

Tyquan Ennis (Archbishop Stepinac  – SR/RB) – Ty Ennis had 12 tackles & one interception on Defense for Crusaders. On Offense Ty had 3 carries for 79 yds & 1 TD in leading the Crusaders over St Anthony’s to improve to 7-0. Ty was a force on both sides of ball . MSG Varsity Mike Quick said Ty was best player on both sides of ball in game.  Nicholas Cipolla  (St. John the Baptist – Jr./RB):   Nicholas came into the game after our starting FB went down with an injury and performed exceptionally well.  He accounted for 130 of our 270 rush yards in the St. John’s victory over Mount.  On defense Nicholas accounted for 9 tackles.  Nicholas also added a 20 yard kickoff return to his accomplishments for the game.
