Quarterfinal Player of the Week Awards

CHSFL Teams Continue to be Recognized with the Best Across the State

The New York State Sports Writers Association came out with their weekly poll this week and a total of 9 Teams were recognized for their efforts so far this season. In the Class AA (Largest School) Poll all 4 CHSFL AAA Semi Finalists are included: St. Anthony’s, Monsignor Farrell, and Archbishop Stepinac are in the Top 20 while Cardinal Hayes earns Honorable Mention. In the Class A Poll CHSFL AA Teams Holy Trinity, Christ the King, and Iona Prep all are in the Top 25. While in the Smaller School Class B Poll CHSFL A Teams Moore Catholic and Xaverian earn Honorable Mention in the Poll.
