Army Inspired by Teammate who Died in Sept. 11 Crash

Reminders of Brandon Jackson, a starting sophomore defensive back at Army who died in a single-car crash early on Sept. 11, are everywhere. There is the glistening gold helmet within the locker at West Point’s fabled Michie Stadium that is so painfully unoccupied. There are helmet stickers bearing his number, 28.
