St. Joseph by the Sea captured the first CHSFL title in school history with an 8-7 win over Staten Island rival St. Peter’s. All the scoring took place in the first quarter and was ultimately decided by a fake extra point that gave the Vikings the one point lead their defense never relinquished. Over 2100 witnessed the defensive battle which was played at Monsignor Farrell High School to accommodate the crowd. The Vikings survived a last minute push by the #2 Eagles (10-3) to claim the 2024 CHSFL AAI title. The top seeded Vikings finished with a record 11-2.
Thomas DiGregorio (Offense) and Dean Coscia (Defense) received MVP honors.
