Saint Francis Prep has a long history of success in the CHSFL. The 2024 version rose from the fourth seed and rode their defense to 2024 the JV AA championship. The first round featured a JV version of the “Battle of the Boulevard” with the Terriers taking on fifth seed Holy Cross (4-5). The Terriers (7-3) shutout the Knights 30-0. On the road St. Francis battled top seed St. Joseph by the Sea to a regulation 0-0 tie. In overtime the Terriers held the Vikings (5-3) out of the endzone and were able to score the games only points on a five yard touchdown run by running back Carden Stevens. In the battle of the Preps, St. Francis’ defense held second seed Fordham Prep (7-3) to only seven points and the Terriers claimed the 2024 JV AA title with a 14-7 win over the Rams. The 2024 JV Terriers held their opponents to seven points in three playoff games.
