Iona has imposed its will once again, earning a spot in the CHSFL title game for the fifth consecutive year. The Gaels (9–1) are aiming to become the first repeat champions since Archbishop Stepinac’s 2017–2018 back-to-back titles. There’s also a measure of revenge on the line. Today’s 42–0 victory over the St. Anthony’s Friars (7–5) sets up a rematch with top-seeded Monsignor Farrell (9-1), the only team to defeat Iona this season—a 28–21 setback on October 17. The winner will advance to the CHSAA Football State Championship game on Saturday, November 29th in Buffalo.
