Moore Catholic in its first year back at the varsity level has punched its ticket to the A championship game. Moore defeated Kennedy Catholic to advance to the A championship, 36-23. Moore last appeared in the AA final in 2004 after winning the A title in 2003. Moore defeated Staten Island rival 21-16 to claim the A title in 2003. Moore will take on Cardinal Spellman who defeated the defending A champions Xaverian.
The Championship game will be played next Saturday, November 19th at the Mitchel Athletic Complex, Uniondale, LI. Game time has not been finalized. Tickets may be purchased for $7.00 in advance at participating schools or at the gate for $10.00.
