Steven Viegas (Monsignor Farrell – Jr./RB) – Steven Viegas kept the Lions in the battle with the Titans of Holy Trinity by rushing for 246 yards on 34 carries. Viegas’ 2 touchdowns proved critical to the Lions last second win.
Tyquell Fields (Stepinac – Jr./QB) – Tyquell Fields scored 1 rushing and threw 3 touchdown passes in a comeback win over rival Iona Prep.
Rory Allen (Fordham Prep – Jr./RB/QB) – With the starting QB out of the game Rory Allen steped in and led Fordham Prep past Nazareth 42-21. Allen rushed for 115 yards on 11 carries and scored 3 touchdowns.
Roberto Nunez (Cardinal Hayes – Sr./QB) – Roberto Nunez threw for 257 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 13 for 20 in Hayes 36-23 win over St. Joseph by the Sea.
