2023 CHSFL Varsity Finals Set
The CHSFL finals are all set! Next Saturday, November 18th the championships at all three levels will be settled at Fordham University’s Coffey Field. Here are the matchups. Michael Cunnion Memorial Trophy – AAA CHSFL League Championship (6:00 pm) (5) Cardinal Hayes v. (2) Iona Prep Fifth seed Cardinal Hayes has traversed two of the most difficult league sites to make it to the AAA league championship game. JV AAA & AA FINALS SET
The 2023 AAA and AA JV championship matchups are set. AAA top seed Archbishop Stepinac (9-0) advanced to the AAA final by defeating fourth seeded St. Anthony’s (6-4) 29-12. Second seed Monsignor Farrell (8-1) shutout third seed Cardinal Hayes (6-4) 27-0 to reach the AAA final. The AAA Championship title game will be played next Saturday, November 18th at Archbishop Stepinac, kicking off is 10:00 am. Both teams will be vying for the John Marchassalla Trophy which is awarded to the CHSFL JV AAA League Champion. Stepinac defeated Farrell back on September 9th 6-0.
